The reported incidence of BM shows an increasing trend, which can be the consequence of improved therapeutic options, leading to increased survival among patients diagnosed with primary tumors, as well as the wider adoption of advanced imaging diagnostic technologies, which have enabled the early identification of BM [ 4 ].
