While they were unable to demonstrate the protective effect on post-acute hospitalization, we additionally showed that asthma patients treated with nirmatrelvir/ritonavir had significantly lower risks of post-acute hospitalization as well as hospitalization due to myocardial infarction, and a lower risk of hospitalization due to acute respiratory distress syndrome that was marginally significant.
