Further exploration of the significant interaction between Stimulus and Distance using Bonferroni corrected pairwise comparisons revealed that the effect of Stimulus on the accuracy of decisions about objects held when stimuli were shown near to the centre at encoding, t (34) = −5.73, p < .001, d = −0.003, but just failed to reach significance when decisions were made about stimuli shown far, t (34) = −1.95, p = .059, d = −0.001.
