The authors observed a highly significant reduction in the fraction of patients requiring either chemotherapy dose reductions, treatment delays or treatment interruptions ( p = 0.004); however, unfortunately, the authors did not report whether the study groups differed with respect to the fraction of palliative versus curative settings and the fraction of patients receiving chemotherapy.
