Firstly, we demonstrated that higher clinical disease activity was associated with ongoing neuronal damage assessed by increased plasma NfL concentrations during multiple visits without ongoing overt neuropsychiatric involvement, while the association between higher serum IFN-α and plasma NfL did not quite reach significance.
