Compared with invasive segments, DCIS from pure and mixed invasive tumors presented a greater estimated abundance of B cells, in addition to more T regulatory and CD4 + T cells (the latter marginally non-significant), whereas stromal segments from invasive areas presented a greater abundance of macrophages (Fig. 2 c).
