Notably, a prior study had described highly significant differences in anti-GlialCAM AA370-389 IgG levels between MS patients and healthy controls in a cohort of 540 individuals, with P-values below 0.0001 ( 29 ). 100% of MS patients in this study had relatively high anti-GlialCAM antibody levels, and these were distinct from 60% of healthy controls whose antibody reactivities were approximately twofold lower.
