As such this might be in line with a recent study on Risk of Pain Spreading (ROPS) where psychosocial indicators (sleep, mood, stress) were strong and significant predictors whereas biological markers including measures of pain sensitivity appeared to play less of a role although marginally significant [ 108 ].
