The δ 2 H and δ 18 O values in precipitation are proportionate ( δ 2 H = 8 δ 18 O + 10), leading to consistent distribution trends across different coix seed origins, which is validated by the highly significant positive correlation ( r = 0.88) between the δ 2 H and δ 18 O values in coix seeds (Fig. 6 ).
