These results are lower than the ones reported in national and international surveys on the Spanish general public, which show prevalences between 16% and 18%, with opposing trends for age [ 7 , 34 ], although it should be borne in mind that other studies have found an increasing trend in impaired mental health among younger generations [ 35 , 36 ].
