The urinary levels of citrate and acetone were found to be sensitive indicators of allograft function, and the combined urinary metabolite levels demonstrated a strong predictive value for kidney function, with highly significant p-values of 4.6 × 10 −12 for 24-h pooled urine and 5.36 × 10 −9 for morning urine samples.
