Comparison between patients with positive versus negative endomyocardial biopsy The data in Table 1 show highly significant differences (the column of p2 ‐values) between patients with ultimately positive versus negative EMB in several laboratory and imaging biomarkers of cardiac involvement, indicating that positive EMB was associated with more active inflammation and more extensive myocardial injury and scarring.
