This implication may indicate that, in the current study, the slight significance of the RRB scores in MV autistic children could be attributed to the higher prevalence of intellectual disability, compared to the VB group, which in some studies has been linked to a greater number of motor stereotypies included in RRB, particularly among older children ( 60 ).
