Compared to the participants with stage 1 hypertension, those with prehypertension had lower mean LVM values for all of the indices measured, with statistically significant differences in three of the four measurements (Sokolow–Lyon voltage–duration product, Cornell voltage, and Cornell voltage–duration product) and a trend that was close to being statistically significant for the fourth measurement (Sokolov–Lyon voltage).
