However, there has been a decreasing trend in maternal mortality, as low as 2.5–5.6%, over the past several years [ 19 – 21 ], which results from a more precise understanding of the pathophysiological hemodynamic changes in pregnancy with PH and advanced peripartum management, especially in the multidisciplinary cardio-obstetrics care team.
