Although the difference of 10 min in recovery between the groups may not sound as too much of a difference, in setups with limited resources where a formal PACU is lacking and the patients’ tracheas are generally extubated on table and patients are shifted directly to wards, this time may be significant enough in a working day to squeeze in another short-duration surgery.
