After adjusting for family history of GC (Italy 1, Italy 2, China 2, Iran 1, Iran 2, China 4, USA 1, Spain 1, Brazil 1, Brazil 2, Japan 3, USA 2) 9 , 21 , 22 , 28 , 30 , 31 , 33 , 34 , 36 , 37 , 42 , 43 fish consumption was associated to lower risk of gastric cancer, with an increasing trend according to fish intake (OR = 0.82, 95% CI 0.74–0.91 for intermediate; and OR = 0.78, 95% CI 0.69–0.87 for high intake compared to the lowest intake) (Table S6 ).
