The authors showed a highly significant correlation between DCE-MRI derived microvascular kinetic parameters and subsequent VS growth at 1 year, with high baseline tumour K trans values(> 0.16 min −1 ) being highly predictive of future growth (OR 15.6); and with the combination of K trans and v e providing an internally validated growth prediction model with high sensitivity and specificity.
