Moreover, a recent study investigated the trend of vitamin D intake using NHANES survey cycles 2001–2018 and found that despite an increasing trend in dietary vitamin D intake from 2007–2008 to 2017–2018 among the elderly population, dietary vitamin D intake has decreased from 4.83 in 2013–2014 mcg to 4.67 mcg in 2017–2018.
