Determination of Plastic Zone Parameters The results of the Spearman rank correlation analysis indicate a highly significant correlation between all 14 characteristic values of the deformation-induced fluorescence images and the two plastic zone parameters, i.e., the maximum equivalent strain at the crack tip and the plastic zone size.
