All three selection treatments evolved increased aggression, but treatments differed in the rate of behavioral change: the negative feedbacks treatment showed slower evolutionary changes in aggression compared to the positive feedbacks and no feedbacks treatments, while the positive feedbacks and no feedbacks treatments showed similar rates of change, with a nonsignificant trend toward faster evolution in the positive feedbacks treatment ( Fig. 2 A and Table 2 : total aggression).
