33 BMI was only available for a subgroup of our cohort ( n = 572), and although we observed a positive trend between BMI and the volumes of the anterior–inferior and posterior subunits, including BMI as a covariate did not affect our finding of a larger anterior–superior hypothalamus in APOE ε4 homozygotes.
