Finally, receiving information and assistance from a midwife was not significantly associated with the discontinuation of exclusive breastfeeding, although the adjusted odds ratio (Crude OR = 0.734; 95% CI: 0.494–1.090; p = 0.119; AOR = 0.654; 95% CI: 0.421–1.017; p = 0.059) suggested a trend towards significance.
