2.7 Mutual Facilitation of the Two Teaching Phases To test the relation between the two teaching phases, we calculated correlation between the predicted knowledge structure generated by the MFC activity during the lecturing phase and the knowledge structure actually recalled by students during the recalling phase of the LH condition, and obtained a marginally significant correlation ( t (14) = 1.911, p = 0.077, Cohen's d = 0.493, 95% CI of the difference = [−0.052, 1.023]; Figure 7 A,B ).
