Studies on cancer survival in PLWH using data from the National Health Insurance Service found that cancer rates were approximately 1.7-fold higher in PLWH than in the general population, with a decreasing trend in AIDS-related cancers and a gradual increase in non-AIDS-related cancers [ 42 – 44 ].
