According to the Chinese national sentinel surveillance of acute respiratory infectious diseases, RSV activity demonstrated an increasing trend starting from the 47th week of 2024 (November). 51 Additionally, our findings indicated that administering nirsevimab during the final month of the RSV epidemic was less cost-effective compared to S1 approach, despite its potential to prevent more RSV-ALRI-related medical events.
