During the period 1990–2021, ASIR, ASMR and ASDR declined in most of the 204 countries and territories in the world, with China showing the most significant downward trend, with the largest decline in ASIR, ASMR, and ASDR, and the Republic of Korea showing a significant decline, however, there are still about one-tenth countries and territories around the world, such as Turkmenistan, Zimbabwe, Georgia and Lesotho, also show an increasing trend ( Fig 4 ).
