Sea-surface temperatures exhibited an increasing trend of about 0.01–0.02°C a –1 across the provinces, except at the CPR sampling locations for SARC and NADR which showed no increase in temperature and a decrease in temperature over the study period, respectively ( S8 Fig ., right).
