The association displayed a decreasing trend by age: individuals aged 0–44 years had the strongest PM 2.5 risk (OR: 1.025, 95% CI: 1.002–1.048), compared to those aged 65 years or older (OR: 0.992, 95% CI: 0.973–1.012), although the statistical evidence was weak ( p value: 0.439).
