There were no changes in the fecal microbiome indices in Group A, while in Group B, the gut microbiome index showed an increasing trend from 43.1 ± 9.3 before the intervention to 52.7 ± 15.3 after, and the inflammation index decreased from 65.1 ± 7.9 before the intervention to 54.3 ± 15.3 after (Figure S3 ). 3.5 Safety and Tolerability Six adverse events were reported, exclusively in three participants from Group A.
