The GLMMs show that trapping method has a highly significant effect on the total number of nontarget saproxylic beetles captured (all feeding types grouped together) ( P = 0.001, R 2 = 0.79), as well as on the number of captured individuals of predator ( P = 0.001, R 2 = 0.73), saproxylophagous ( P = 0.001, R 2 = 0.87), phloeoxylophagous ( P = 0.001, R 2 = 0.84) and mycetophagous ( P = 0.01, R 2 = 0.93) feeding types of saproxylic beetle (Table 2 ; Fig. 5 ).
