There was a highly significant, negative correlation between fALFF and Andrew's score ( Fig. 4 h; rho = −0.715, p < 0.0001; Spearman correlation test), suggesting that the amplitude of haemodynamic oscillations correlates not only to the overall changes in glial reactivity in each individual, but also to the spatial extent of the glial reactivity, and that the local presence of reactive glia is needed for this vasomotion amplification to occur.
