On the other hand, the present study showed cardiovascular diseases ( P = 0.0207) and malignant neoplasms ( P = 0.0404) to be highly significant as cause of death in NGT subjects with 1-hrPG ≥170, while incidences of cerebrovascular death and other-cause mortality did not differ significantly between the 1-hrPG ≥170 and 1-hrPG <170 groups.
