In a recent study, HCPs screened 50% of adolescents for vaping, whilst they screened 100% of adolescent patients for traditional cigarette use; they also provided counselling to 90% of traditional cigarette users compared to 20% of the patients who vaped, with the difference in screening and counselling approaches being highly significant ( p < 0.0001) [ 36 ].
