Baseline analysis showed that among categorical variables, the smoking rate was 46.667% in the POAG 1 group and 34.807% in the POAG 0 group with no significant difference (χ 2 = 1.838, P = 0.175), alcohol drinkers accounted for 6.667% in POAG 1 and 6.265% in POAG 0 with no significant difference (χ 2 = 0.008, P = 0.928), and males constituted 53.333% of POAG 1 and 44.556% of POAG 0 with no significant difference (χ 2 = 0.926, P = 0.336); however, the positivity rate of vb001_s1 was significantly lower in POAG 1 (30.000%) than in POAG 0 (84.556%) with a highly significant difference (χ 2 = 65.820, P < 0.001).
