Importantly, this functional response predicted the extent to which TMR impacted on behavioural performance at that same time point, suggesting that repeated reactivation of memory traces during sleep may increase activity in parts of the PPC (such as precuneus) in a behaviourally relevant manner, although the cueing benefit was not yet significant at 24 h.
