We found a marginally significant negative relationship between the Cp-values of Midichloria and the log-odds of larvae carrying Borrelia , indicating that higher amounts of Midichloria in feeding larvae increase the probability of being infected with Borrelia (GLMM: β = −0.14 ± 0.07, P = 0.06).
