The data we do have for these toxins are not always from a biologically relevant route of exposure (e.g., intraperitoneal injection), which can have a highly significant impact on the results, as demonstrated by the recently evaluated toxicity of dihydro-anatoxin [ 17 ] and of various PSPTs [ 18 ].
