Within the range of WHSV from 1 to 5 h –1 , both the methanol conversion and the CO content show a decreasing trend as the space velocity increases, which might be attributed to the shortening of contact time between the catalyst and reactants, resulting in a large amount of feedstock accumulating on the catalyst surface and directly passing through the microwave tubular reactor without reacting.
