Age-related changes in microaberration The mean RMS within each age subgroup exhibited an increasing trend: 13.5 ± 1.1 nm in the 20s (n = 4), 14.1 ± 0.7 nm in the 30s (n = 6), 15.9 ± 1.3 nm in the 40s (n = 6), and 16.3 ± 1.5 nm in the 50s (n = 4).
