As T class is the most important prognostic measure in routine clinical HNSCC diagnostics, it is important to observe that LIMA1 remained a highly significant prognostic factor despite the inclusion high T class in the prognostic model (LIMA1’s HR 2.10; 95% CI 1.24–3.58) (Fig. 1C ).
