When comparing the cfDNA age deviation (predicted age minus chronological age) between HCC subjects and controls, as well as between HBV subjects and controls, we observed a marginally significant increased age deviation in the HBV group compared to the healthy group and no difference between HCC patients and healthy controls (Figure 4C ).
