For LumB, HER2E, and basal cancers we observed no significant change in total RIF1 mRNA expression between tumour and matched normal samples separated ( Figure 2 A), while for LumA cancers we observed a marginally significant drop in expression, consistent with there being no significant change in RIF1 expression when considering all breast cancers combined ( Figure 1 C).
