Considering the crucial role of PRMT1 in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) with various gene mutations—including RBM15-MKL1, FLT3-ITD, MLL-EEN, and AML1-ETO fusions—as well as mutations in splicing factor ( Fong et al., 2019 ), PRMT1-mediated metabolic reprogramming may be significant for the previously mentioned AML.
