Out of the 18 combinations of the comparative score, four combinations showed similar diagnostic information in both 2D and 3D cuts (22.2%), two combinations showed superior diagnostic information in 3D (11.1%), a total of 12 combinations showed superior diagnostic information in 2D cuts (66.7%) ( Table 3 ). Comparison of fracture detection score between 2D and 3D cuts displayed a p-value of 0.0001, which was <0.01, deemed to be statistically highly significant.
