A Swedish cohort study evaluating the incidence of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade 3 (CIN3) in individuals receiving natalizumab, fingolimod, and rituximab, identified a borderline significant elevation in risk for fingolimod (HR: 1.63, 95% CI: 0.94–2.82), but not the other DMTs. 26 Ongoing post-marketing studies, such as the Verismo study evaluating malignancy incidence in ocrelizumab-treated patients, are critical for understanding the long-term safety profile of DMTs.
