As the storage time of the doogh samples was extended to 30 days, the increase in BPA concentration was again significant; the BPA concentration in the samples related to Brand #1 was 0.187 ± 0.003 mg/L (at this stage, the difference in average concentration compared to the first week and 2 weeks was highly significant; p < 0.0001).
1 , the average BPA concentration in all three doogh brands showed an increasing trend with rising temperature, and this increase was statistically significant (for all pairwise comparisons between two specific temperatures; p < 0.001 or better).
However, if HQ ≥ 1, the risk of exposure to BPA through doogh consumption may be significant, and this issue requires further evaluation to ensure consumer health 27 .
