Additionally, the interaction for the number of births subgroup was borderline significant (P for interaction = 0.05), with a significantly reduced risk of infertility among those who had fewer than two births and lived alone (OR = 0.39, 95% CI: 0.23–0.66, P < 0.001) ( Figure 3 ).
