On average, experts judged the four projects in this study as being 0.53 points less beneficial than did students on a 5-point scale, a marginally significant result (expert mean = 2.50, student mean = 3.03, t = 2.38 , χ 2 = 3.11 , p = 0.078 ). 3.5 Variation in recommended risk management strategies We found substantial disagreement between expert participants about the appropriate actions to take to manage the DURC risks of research projects.
