This could signal a worrying trend of rising tobacco consumption among younger women, possibly fuelled by shifting social norms and the increasing availability of alternative tobacco products. 2 7 This finding emphasises the urgent need to broaden public health efforts beyond cigarette smoking to include emerging tobacco forms popular with youth and young women.
